With a historically low unemployment rate in the Greater Fort Lauderdale/Broward County of just 2.6% at the close of 2019, they share the notion that employers have an opportunity to tap non-traditional sources to meet talent needs. This includes approaches such as rethinking required educational credentials and hiring people who could benefit from a second chance.
