Thanks to a grant from JPMorgan Chase in late 2018, the Alliance has hired a full-time staff member to create a comprehensive inventory of available services within the six zip codes, work with service providers in those areas, and market services to individuals living in these communities.
The staff member will also work closely with the co-chairs to bring together leaders and representatives from nonprofits, businesses, higher education, and government institutions from across the county to address issues related to economic and social mobility. These cross-sector convenings elevate solutions and catalyze actions for expanding access to training/education and employment in challenged communities.
