Each Prosperity Conversation will focus on one topic that has created systemic barriers and keeps residents from achieving economic mobility.
During each conversation, multiple layers of these systemic barriers will be analyzed, the work of current partners will be highlighted, and potential next steps and solutions will be shared with the thought leaders in the room.
Join us on October 29, 2024 for the first Prosperity Conversation on the Benefits Cliffs at the Miramar Cultural Center, and learn how we can address a system that keeps our residents from pursuing economic mobility. Register Here
Your support empowers us to convene our community, shine a light on systemic barriers hindering economic mobility, and foster collaborative solutions. Together, we can dismantle these obstacles and create an inclusive economy where everyone has the opportunity to thrive.
By convening wide groups of key leaders (including municipal representatives, subject matter experts, business leaders, government agencies, service providers, nonprofit organizations, educational institutions, and others) we can strengthen community awareness surrounding specific systemic barriers and encourage collaboration.
Systemic barriers are detrimental to both social and economic well-being. They hinder economic mobility, create workforce challenges, and weaken local communities. These barriers limit access to jobs, financial services, and opportunities for reinvestment, ultimately harming our overall economic health.
By promoting the work of community partners that are addressing systemic barriers, we can bring a higher awareness to their efforts and encourage other leaders to join and support their efforts.
By engaging and inviting the business community to learn and support systemic change, we can add an additional group of leaders who can advocate for the dismantling of these barriers.
